It was just a normal day when Martin, Thomas and I were collecting nuts in the woods. But then I caught a glimpse of something in the corner of my eye, and before I could do anything it knocked Thomas over and hurt him really bad. Martin told me to climb up a tree so I would be safe, but then I heard the rustling again and that was when I saw the big black beast, Then it got frightened so it ran off. I hopped down and helped Martin carry Thomas away. I could feel a faint pulse in his wrist. We approached a large hill where at the top was a shrine. There would be nuns there to aid Thomas, so Martin and I struggled to the top. When we got there the nuns took him and put him in a bed so he could rest. I sat by his bedside until he woke up. The priest gave me a parchment saying that the God would consider the pilgrimage done due to the state he was in. When I told him about it he decided that he would wait a little longer while Martin and I finished his journey. That was when he asked me the question if I was going to marry Martin. I was surprised to hear him say that, but I told him that I would rather marry him, and he agreed. He told me that if they did not meet up with us in Santiago he would see me back in England. We agreed, and Martin continued on his journey while I stayed back on the mountain with Thomas.
